How long does it take to build a website?
This depends on the project size and complexity, but most websites take 8 weeks from start to finish. I’ll always give you an estimation upfront and continuous updates on progress.
When can you start my project?
The sooner you get in touch, the sooner we can start working on your new website or branding! I’m usually booked out a little bit in advance, so if you think you might want to work on a project together in the future, now is the best time to reach out.
How much will my website cost?
Each project is different as it’s tailored to your business. I’ve added general costs on my pricing page, but the quickest way to get a better ballpark for your project is to reach out to me for a quick chat on my contact page.
What's the process for getting started?
Reach out through my contact form or by email on my contact page. We’ll have a quick chat to see if I can help you with your project and we’ll book in a free discovery call. From here, I’ll send you a proposal and we’ll start working on your new project.
Do you work with businesses outside of Perth/Australia?
I work with clients all over the world. I’ve worked with clients from the USA, Spain, New Zealand, Singapore and the UK. I take payment in pretty much all currencies and use Wise or Stripe.
What platforms do you work with?
I currently only work with Webflow. After finishing over 30 projects, I’ve found Webflow is the *almost* perfect solution for professional service businesses.
Webflow is a high-quality tool built around web standards, producing clean, maintainable, and accessible code. (Very important to me, Google and AI crawlers.)
The websites I build are very scalable and easy to maintain without any ongoing maintenance costs. I also tailor your CMS setup so you can edit everything yourself, exactly the way you need.
Can I update my website myself once it’s built?
This is something we talk about in a discovery call, but the short answer is absolutely! How much control you would like will also determine how I build the website, so it’s a good thing to think about. Please contact me when you’re ready to chat.
Do you provide hosting and ongoing support?
I work with Webflow, and offer both the option to host with me or host yourself. If I built your website, I’d love to continue working together & really value long-term partnerships. Learn more on my pricing page.
Do you offer copywriting?
Yes! I take care of everything involving your new website, the strategy phase helps me understand your business well enough to write copy that actually sounds like you. I’m also happy for you to provide your own if you’d like it to come 100% from your end.
Can you help with SEO (search engine optimisation)?
I implement basic SEO best practices during development, like on-page SEO, clean code and all the right tags. I also offer ongoing website strategy retainers which are about keeping your website fresh and ranking.
Do you use AI?
Of course. I mainly use Claude to support and speed up parts of my workflow. This includes admin, meeting recordings, site-mapping, content planning, research, and QC. AI helps me work more efficiently and put more energy towards the creative, strategic parts of your website. However, everything single thing I produce is completely tailored to you and your business and always checked by a pedantic human (me).
Do you use subcontractors?
Very rarely. The main perk of working with me is: you get to work with me. If there’s any part of the job that may need to be outsourced, I’ll let you know upfront, usually alongside who I think will be the best person for the job.
