From concept to development: Premium Wordpress website tools

The websites I build use tools that are flexible, modern, and follow web best practices. The toolkit I prefer and recommend for delivering high-end, professional results includes Figma for design, complemented by WordPress (Bricks Builder & Automatic CSS). I also use Relume for all things to do with site-mapping and wire-framing, should your project require it. Or if we are working with Webflow, I use Relume components to speed up development.

Other plugins I like to use are ACF, Ewww, SEOPress, and HappyFiles. I'm also familiar with many, many more plugins and widgets. I’m always testing new tech and refining processes to stay ahead, and love talking about this if you're also a tech-nerd. My 4 Step Process

A successful project demands a clear and organised process. That's why I follow a 4-step process specifically designed to ensure your new WordPress website achieves every one of your business goals.

By taking a deliberate approach, we ensure we're both aligned before moving on, guaranteeing a seamless build process. The result is a high-performing WordPress site delivered sooner, without the usual headaches and hidden fees from an agency.

1. Research & planning
We kick things off by mapping out a solid game plan. We’ll discuss your goals, your brand, and who your audience is. My job is to listen carefully and understand exactly what you want your Webflow site to do for your business. By the end of this phase, you’ll have a clear strategy and a roadmap for the entire project, so you know exactly what to expect.
3. Responsive Design
Now we bring the vision to life. Using a combination of our strategic plan and Relume’s pre-built components, I design high-fidelity mockups in Figma. You’ll see exactly how your new Webflow site will look and feel, with designs tailored for both desktop and mobile devices. This stage provides a polished preview and a fully interactive prototype, ensuring the you’re super happy with the final product.

2. Structure & mapping
With our strategy in place, we move into the structure. This is where I use Relume to quickly build a detailed sitemap and create low-fidelity wireframes. We’ll outline every page, the content required for each, and how all the elements connect. This rapid prototyping gives us a precise roadmap for the entire site, ensuring we have a clear and efficient path to start the design!
4. We build
As soon as the designs are approved, I get straight to building. This is where I go “head down” in Webflow, turning our approved designs and interactive prototypes into a fully functional, high-performance website. How long does it take to build a website?
This depends on the project size and complexity, but most websites take between 3 to 6 weeks from start to finish. Templates are on the shorter end, and custom websites may take even longer than this depending on the size. I’ll always give you an estimation upfront and continuous updates on progress.
How much will my website cost?
Pricing varies depending on your needs, features, and design complexity. I offer custom quotes after understanding your goals, you can book a discovery call to start this process. I have also listed base rates on my pricing page.
Can I update my website myself once it’s built?
This is something we talk about in a discovery call, but the short answer is absolutely! How much control you would like will also determine what I build the website with, so it’s always good to book a call when you’re ready to chat.
Do you provide hosting and ongoing support?
Yes! I offer premium Wordpress hosting and maintenance packages to keep your website secure, up-to-date, and running smoothly — no headaches for you. You can head over to my pricing page for more information on this.
Do you offer copywriting?
Yes! I work with an amazing copywriter who specialises in conversion-focused writing and strategic brand messaging. Instead of juggling two separate contractors, you get a cohesive team that ensures your visuals and message are perfectly aligned from day one! I’m also happy for you to provide your own copy if you’d like it to come from your end.
Can you help with SEO (search engine optimisation)?
I implement basic SEO best practices during development, like on-page SEO, clean code and all the right tags. For more advanced SEO, I can recommend a specialist or help coordinate with your marketing team.
Do you use AI?
Yes! I use AI tools to support and speed up parts of my workflow. This can include site-mapping, content planning, design research, and generating ideas. It helps me work more efficiently and stay focused on the creative, strategic parts of your website. However, everything I produce is completely tailored to you and your business and you definitely won’t catch me using tools like GoDaddy’s or Wix’s AI builders. Eww.
Do you use subcontractors?

My commitment to you is to deliver the best possible website within your budget, that meets your requirements and—most importantly—your expectations. To do this, I occasionally rely on a close network of exceptionally talented independent providers like myself. I manage all of this internally, with no extra cost or time commitment from yourself. Your input stays the same, but my output increases to meet the objectives.
What platforms do you work with?
I specialise in Bricks Builder (Wordpress) and Webflow. These are professional tools that respect web standards and produce clean, maintainable and accessible code. Unlike beginner platforms that teach proprietary systems, these give me complete control to build custom solutions with proper HTML, CSS, and JavaScript while maintaining efficient visual workflows.

These platforms give me direct access to clean, semantic code, so I can build sites that are truly scalable and maintainable. The result is professional-grade work that performs like it should!
What’s the difference between working with you vs. a big agency?
